As stated by the Office of the Provost, "the university is not simply shaped by its faculty; rather, they define it, taking ideas about teaching, research, and mission and putting them into practice on a day-to-day basis with students and colleagues in any number of settings."

On October 4, Professor Thomas C. Corke, Clark Equipment Professor of Engineering, the Director of the Institute for Flow Physics and Control and faculty member of the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Department, was honored by the University during the Notre Dame vs Stanford home football game.

You can read more about what the University means to Dr. Corke, both as an individual and as a scholar, by reading his profile on the Office of the Provost's "Featured Faculty" webpage.
