Senior Design: Aerospace Engineering

From Kittyhawk to micro air vehicles and the Mars Rover, aerospace engineers, like the students in AME 40462: Aerospace Design, have always been the dreamers and doers. They will continue to shape the future of flight. AME 40462 is a team-based design project with application to an aerospace system development. It Includes topics in associated technologies, design methodology, standards, and engineering ethics, and typically involves the creation and demonstration of a flight vehicle.

Senior Design: Mechanical Engineering

From a simple lever to the telescoping arm on the space shuttle, mechanical engineers, like the students in AME 40463: ME Senior Design Project, set the world in motion.  AME 40463 is a course that provides a comprehensive team-oriented, project-based design of a selected mechanical engineering system or process. Projects involve design specification development, engineering design, documentation and prototype fabrication.
