University Core Curriculum (Arts and Letters Courses)

The University requires 24 credits of Arts & Letters Courses. The following may be taken to satisfy these requirements:

  • Writing & Rhetoric - One Course
  • University Seminar - One Course**
  • History - One Course
  • Social Science - One Course
  • Fine Arts or Literature - One Course
  • Philosophy - Two Courses
  • Theology - Two Courses

**The University Seminar may be selected from an appropriate history, social science, fine arts, literature, or the first course in philosophy or theology.

Technical Specialization and Professional Development Courses

Two Technical Specialization Courses and one Professional Development Course must be taken for a total of 9 credit hours. A comprehensive lists of courses that satisfy the Technical Elective requirements may be found on the Electives Page.
