Jingcheng Ma
Assistant Professor, Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering
Areas of Interest
Professor Ma’s research group studies interfacial thermofluids phenomena for biomedical, environmental, and energy applications. His research includes phase change, wetting, adhesion, elasto-capillarity, water repellency, liquid-liquid phase separation, and electrolyte dynamics in bioelectronic devices.
His group’s research goal is to leverage thermofluids knowledge and surface science to significantly enhance the performance of biosensors and other biomedical devices. The current focus is on developing portable biosensors for the detection of ultra-dilute airborne biomarkers.
