Areas of Interest

Dasha Gloutak researches experimental fluid mechanics, including aerodynamics, unsteady flows, flow control, turbulence, and vortex dynamics. Investigations within these areas aim to enhance the performance and control of aerospace and wind energy platforms.

Prof. Gloutak is particularly interested in fluid-structure interactions in high-speed subsonic flows yet low-density environments. Applications include high-altitude vehicles, turbomachinery, and Martian aerodynamics.
