Areas of Interest

Prof. Wang’s research focuses on data-driven/augmented computational modeling, which broadly revolves around scientific machine learning, Bayesian data assimilation, and uncertainty quantification.

His research interests involve:

  • Surrogate modeling of fluid and fluid-structure dynamics
  • Data-augmented modeling of physiological systems (e.g., cardiovascular systems)
  • Forward and inverse modeling of computational physics
