Madeline Peck

Assistant Professor, Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering
Areas of Interest
Prof. Peck uses computational methods to investigate how boundary layers transition from laminar to turbulent flow, focusing on the hypersonic speed regime. She primarily uses linear stability theory to predict disturbance growth and investigate the physical mechanisms that drive transition. Advancing predictive capabilities requires both an improved understanding of flow physics and more efficient modeling techniques, both of which are of interest to Prof. Peck.
